| if I do not OWN the resulting piece of artwork.|
if I cannot post it on my personal website, with appropriate credits. The website is here
if you can reclaim the design or artwork under ANY situation.
if it's a commission, do not take my commission if I cannot use the image [with appropriate credits] as an image in RP websites.
I cannot use the character in my "serious" artwork if I so choose.
I will always credit you, I will never claim I did the work. I Will not resell. I will usually not give away designs (only within the ARPG, and then rarely.)
But I do OWN all my characters, and I tend to apply designs to characters who already exist but don't have animal forms. And I want to make sure people can't steal my characters from me, especially for some personal concept of being 'active', when my real life is hectic and often unfriendly and I don't have time to do a ton of shit on DA.
I can only agree to rules that are clearly visible, easy to find (I suggest your front page at the most far away, and definitely on the artist comments). I refuse to blanket-agree to rules: I agree to your version of the rules as they are stated when i buy the adoptable. If you change your rules, I reserve the right to keep my adoptable under the original rules, because I am not psychic and rules-changes have great potential to be very abusive to the purchaser.
In return, I will only buy adopts or art with DA points (which can be turned to cash), my artwork (which I sell for USD), or actual USD, or some other currency earned with real money or time. This is why I have such strong feelings-- outside of the issue of character ownership, which is one of my big Things. If I'm paying for something, I want to own it.
All adopts get used as characters, which means they are also occasionally incarnated as humans or anthros on different games. They get private profiles on my character website. If any of this is problematic, do not sell to me.
I'm not interested in being treated like shit.
I don't treat people like shit, and I'm not interested in being treated like shit. period. Final deal. I'm perfectly willing to accept people as they are. So long as you treat me well, I will treat you well. I am absolutely willing to accept your opinion, so long as your opinion respects my existence.
My preferred gender pronouns are Xe/Xyr/Xys, and I would appreciate them being used.I will also take 'they' if that makes you feel more comfortable.
"And if anyone is wondering why I don't take no shit in my hobbies, this is why: I'm a non-binary trans* queer motherfucker who is finishing a BFA and trying to pursue an MFA and later a career in art. I don't need no more stress."
